Situation

We required “Pre-Courses” to prepare ILT participants for the 5-day in-person training.

Task

Rise was selected for its user-friendliness and compatibility with our LMS, Absorb.

Action

With a wealth of information to condense, I focused on visual aids, infographics, Rise interactivity, and, when needed, used Storyline to supplement Rise’s capabilities.

Results

These courses were completed before participants (managers and supervisors) attended the on-site 5-day training.

Manager Memorization Training (Offshoot Project)

What was requested? In the Frontline Leadership Program, managers and supervisors must learn and memorize the content as they are the facilitators. Executive Leadership considers this the key takeaway. To aid memorization, content was created, utilizing repetition and association with icons and imagery, within a short training piece hosted on Articulate Rise.

Critical Safety Rules Management must recall the company's 10 Critical Safety Rules, with the aid of easily recognizable icons for support.
